Premier Performing Arts Studio  has an exciting approach to learning the most popular instrument in the world, the guitar. This program is for students beginning at the age of 5 and  older, and it approaches learning the guitar using classical guitar technical foundation.

 

This foundation is the basis for all good styles of guitar playing. A various combination of pedagogical techniques and traditional learning styles will be used including playing by musical note reading.

 

The program motivates students by teaching them to play songs they know immediately. Students are motivated by opportunities to play in recitals with other instrumentalist and for other guitarists.

 

Students immediately begin to learn fundamental musicianship skills including note identification, rhythm reading, memorization, ear training.

 

Students learn at their own pace in a nurturing fun atmosphere. Lesson plans are designed to build the strength of each student.
